Together they are developing the area around Stockholm Arlanda Airport into an international meeting place with hotels, offices and logistics.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\"><strong>In the room:<\/strong> The full board. CEO and chair of the board from all three parties. Three organisations with three different logics \u2014 state, municipal, listed.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\"><strong>The situation:<\/strong> Competing views on what the future should hold. A number of senior participants used to having the final word in the room. And one day to move forward.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\"><strong>What I did:<\/strong> I facilitated. I asked the questions rather than answering them. I split the group into smaller constellations where each &#8220;camp&#8221; was represented \u2014 so that they had to listen to each other rather than negotiate from positions. And at the end, I summarised what we had actually arrived at.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\"><strong>What it required:<\/strong> Patience, structure, and the willingness not to fold \u2014 including for those used to deciding.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">The day landed. Everyone was heard. That is the kind of assignment I take.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9d3fa6d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"9d3fa6d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Magna International, Electrolux and King<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6074d1c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6074d1c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">As a senior trainer for the British training company Speak First (since acquired), I trained CEOs and senior leaders in presentation skills. Among the assignments:<\/p><ul class=\"[li_&amp;]:mb-0 [li_&amp;]:mt-1 [li_&amp;]:gap-1 [&amp;:not(:last-child)_ul]:pb-1 [&amp;:not(:last-child)_ol]:pb-1 list-disc flex flex-col gap-1 pl-8 mb-3\"><li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\"><strong>Magna International<\/strong> \u2014 multiple CEOs in Germany, in English<\/li><li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\"><strong>Electrolux<\/strong> \u2014 in Stockholm<\/li><li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\"><strong>King<\/strong> (Candy Crush) \u2014 in Stockholm<\/li><\/ul><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">These assignments dealt with what most presentation trainers never quite reach: how a CEO stands in front of hundreds of people and speaks with both authority and humanity \u2014 without sounding like a press release. How to take a difficult scenario and tell it so the audience both understands and trusts.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">That is where I am at my best \u2014 in the room with experienced leaders who already know a great deal, but need that final tool to truly land.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2c9d04d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"2c9d04d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Preparing a team for an international fair<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7067a8f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7067a8f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\"><strong>Situation:<\/strong> EduAdmin was to be represented at a large industry fair in London with a team that had not previously worked together in an exhibition setting. It would all be in English, with international visitors, and the team needed to function as one unit from day one.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\"><strong>What I did:<\/strong> Two training sessions before the trip. We built the team, practised reading visitors, distributing responsibility in the booth, stepping forward at the right moment \u2014 and not least: resting smart during long fair days.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\"><strong>Result \u2014 in the client&#8217;s own words:<\/strong><\/p><blockquote class=\"ml-2 border-l-4 border-border-300\/10 pl-4 text-text-300\"><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\"><em>&#8220;We all agree that the training with you helped us enormously at the fair. It built us into a team \u2014 &#8216;proper teamwork&#8217;. We were able to deflect irrelevant visitors easily and bring the relevant ones into the booth. We helped each other and handed visitors over smoothly. Our British partner mentioned several times how professional we were.
